For over a century, countless people have called
Saint John’s Cathedral their spiritual home.

This is a place where we come together to worship in community each week. It is a space in which we experience our deepest sorrows and our greatest joys. Our spacious building allows us to be a good neighbor and reach out to those in our city who need it most. All are welcome and there is plenty of room for everyone – no matter their story. We are called to take care of this holy space, this dynamic community, and our spiritual home.

We ask you to join us now in restoring and preserving our historic cathedral,
which has given us a place to pray, gather, and find community for over a century.

Restoring the
Stained-Glass Windows

Due to inevitable wear, the lead, masonry, and millwork that hold the windows together are severely compromised and urgently need repair.

Repairing All Souls’ Walk Columbarium

The structure of All Souls’ Walk has suffered significant weathering and water damage. We will repair the foundation, provide new drainage to prevent extensive weathering in the future, and level the pavers.

Replacing HVAC in Offices & Updating the Kitchen

The current air conditioning in the staff offices is failing, making them uninhabitable in the summer. The air conditioning cannot be sustainably repaired, so we need to replace the HVAC system.

The kitchen plays a vital role in our hospitality. This space needs an update after years of loving use, including renovations to support many more years of ministry.

Giving to the Community through Grants

Addressing the needs of our community and partnering with local non-profits is a part of our history and our future. We will give a few generous grants to organizations in our community that are addressing racial justice, economic justice and opportunity, and gun violence prevention.

“Glory to God whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine: Glory to him from generation to generation in the Church, and in Christ Jesus, for ever and ever. Amen.”

Ephesians 3:20-21
